3 Spring Fashion Trends You Need to Try in 2025

Lately, I’ve been getting really into upcoming fashion trends.

Not just because I love seeing what’s new, but because nothing gives me more satisfaction than watching a trend I hate finally disappear.

Pure. Joy.

And then, of course, a new one pops up and I’m like—

“Why is this happening?”

Trends come and go, and I pick and choose what I actually follow. But it’s always fun to see which ones stick, which ones flop, and which ones make you tilt your head like, “Wait…what?”

So today, I’m breaking down three surprising spring fashion trends that caught my attention—and yes, I’m loving all of them.

At the end, I’ll share a few style tips so you can make these looks work for you.

What’s In: The Trends Taking Over

Metallics: Daytime Disco Is Here

Silver, gold, and holographic everything.

And no, it’s not just for evenings anymore.

Metallics are shining bright this spring—from skirts to shoes to full-blown mirrorball moments.

It’s giving “human disco ball,” and honestly? I support it.

Shop this metallic look!

Style tip

Pair it with a sheer blouse or keep it simple with a basic tee or tank. I also love metallic jeans or pants with a fitted tee and matching accessories to pull it all together.

Sheer Everything

Sheer tops, sheer skirts, and sheer dresses.

It’s giving sexy but breathable.

Perfect for layering, and honestly—kind of fun.

See how I wore this sheer blouse with a different jacket—so versatile!

Whether you’re dressing it up or down, this trend is surprisingly easy to pull off.

Shop these sheer looks from La Pointe!

Two must-haves, one decision

Keep it classic with this lightwash denim combo jacket or go bold with this double seam pant in yellow glow tan?

Either way, these LaPointe pieces are spring staples.

Style tip

Layer over a lace bralette or fitted tank. Add a blazer for structure, or mix in denim for a more casual vibe. I also love a sheer dress with lace or bodysuits underneath. (I currently have a LaPointe sheer look being altered right now, and it is divine.)

High-Waisted Pants (Finally, Some Breathing Room)

I had to include this one because… I’ve always hated skinny jeans.

They never did me any favors—just made my love handles feel more prominent than they needed to be.

But bless up, high-waisted everything is trending, and comfort is finally cool again.

And let’s not forget wide-leg and baggy jeans—because comfort is in, and suffocating denim is out.

Chic trousers for everyday wear

Cargo pants (sleek and tailored, not 2002 sloppy)

Wide-leg and baggy jeans that let you breathe and move

Say hello to your new best friend.

High-waisted, relaxed, and effortlessly cool—these jeans do it all.

Style tip

Wear them with a fitted blouse or tuck in a tank or bodysuit. Add a cropped jacket to highlight the waist, and finish with a belt for a polished look.

My Styling Tips to Make These Trends Your Own

Pair sheer with structure (like a blazer or denim jacket)

Keep metallics grounded with basics like white tees or neutrals

Balance wide-leg pants with something fitted on top

Confidence = the best accessory every single time

Final Thought: Style & Confidence

I know trends can be hit or miss, but these three? I’m genuinely into them. They’re different, bold, wearable, and leave room to have a little fun with fashion again.

DM me with any questions—or send me your favorite trends right now! I’d love to hear what you’re loving (or totally ignoring).
