After hosting the most spectacular, empowering women’s event at our Laguna Beach home, complete with fashion icons, celebrity stylists, Orange County Housewives, and a guest list that still gives me chills, Hammitt reached out with a simple question:
“How about we do a rinse and repeat in Texas?”
And who am I to say no to a good handbag and a great party?
So we packed up the West Coast glam and brought it lakeside:
to my home in Fort Worth, Texas.
This wasn’t just a change of scenery, it was a whole new energy.
Think Texas sunshine, sunset reflections off the water, and a space filled with strong, stylish women ready to connect, celebrate, and show up in their full power.
And Hammitt? They brought it.
Before a single guest arrived, Hammitt set the tone.
Each woman received a designer handbag in the mail—a pre-event gift that screamed luxury and intention.
And at the event? They took it a step further with sleek black cowboy hats, handed out and personalized on-site with custom calligraphy.
Not just a party favor.
A full-on fashion moment.
We welcomed an incredible lineup of powerhouse women:
Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders
NBC News Anchors
Pro athletes
Influencers, founders, and fearless creatives from across the DFW area.
The energy was unmatched. These weren’t just guests, they were the heartbeat of the event.
Every great night needs a great drink menu.

Personalized Grazing created edible art that made guests stop and snap
11:11 Wines flew in from Napa and gave a crash course in swirl-sip-slay
Jill Chapman Calligraphy turned black cowboy hats into personal keepsakes
Jimmy Martin played a soul-soothing acoustic set by the water
Chuck the Trick Roper gave us true Texas flair. And yes, Hammitt’s CEO Tony and I tried to jump into the rope. Heavy on the tried
It was one of those nights where you could feel the connection in the air.
We laughed. We clinked glasses. We posed with our new bags and made memories that felt like magic.
This wasn’t just a party, it was a moment that mattered.
The night before the event, Joe and I took Tony (Hammitt’s CEO) and his gal to Billy Bob’s in Fort Worth, full honky tonk style.
One California CEO. One cowboy hat. One highly entertaining attempt at the two-step.
It was everything.
After doing this for the past two years, I had a moment that really hit me:
I’m proud.
Proud of how far this journey has come.
Proud that brands like Cynthia Rowley, Julie Miles, and Hammitt—twice—have trusted me to host unforgettable experiences at both of my homes.
But more than anything, I’m proud of the impact
The laughter.
The real conversations.
The friendships that start with a cocktail and turn into something lasting.
This isn’t just about fashion or parties.
It’s about creating spaces where women feel celebrated and seen.
And I’m so honored to be a part of that.
