It’s not every day you get an email asking if you’d like to join forces with one of the most iconic fashion brands in the world. But when ALICE + OLIVIA came knocking, offering me a spot in their Community Ambassador Program, I did what any fashion lover would do—I said, “Yes, a thousand times yes!”

Before I get into what makes this such a pinch-me moment, let’s rewind. Two years ago, I hosted my very first trunk show in my home in Laguna Beach with Cynthia Rowley. It was intimate, stylish, and the perfect way to share my passion for fashion with others. Each event was about more than shopping—it was about connection, creativity, and a love of beautifully crafted pieces.
So, when ALICE + OLIVIA, a brand I’ve admired forever, invited me to join their exclusive program, I knew I was stepping into a whole new level of fabulous.
What is a Brand Ambassador?
An Alice and Olivia ambassador is a new program where they reaching out to fashion lovers in certain cities that are influential in their communities and love to bring people together for shopping experiences. The benefits is you receive a discount on purchases in store, a gifted look for the event, and most importantly, you get invited to all their events — including the one and only New York Fashion Week. My part is I host two events a year either at their Highland Park boutique in Dallas or in one of my homes in Fort Worth or Laguna Beach. Guest shop at a discounted price, and best of all, a portion of the profits goes to my favorite charity.
ALICE + OLIVIA: The Brand, The Legend
Let’s talk about ALICE + OLIVIA, shall we? This isn’t just another clothing line—it’s a global sensation. Founded by the ever-stylish Stacey Bendet, ALICE + OLIVIA is known for its bold prints, vibrant colors, and silhouettes that make you feel like the main character in your life story.

As a 51-year-old woman, I want to inspire others to embrace their individuality and age with confidence. Life’s too short for boring clothes, right? My First Event: Rain or Shine
My first official event as an ALICE + OLIVIA ambassador was held in one of their stunning stores in Dallas. The weather? Let’s just say the skies were not cooperating. Torrential rain meant some guests couldn’t make it, but those who did braved the storm with style. The result? A smaller but mightier gathering filled with laughs, fashion, and philanthropy.
As always, the event was about more than just clothes. 10% of the profits went to my charity, EducateMe4Life, which supports young single mothers pursuing trade school or college. Being able to combine my passion for fashion with a cause so close to my heart made the day even more meaningful. A local artist reached out to me to see if she could work the event which made it even more magical.

As an ambassador, I’ll be hosting seasonal events that celebrate everything ALICE + OLIVIA stands for: boldness, individuality, and community.
